Plumber Yearly Salary

A plumber is a highly trained maintenance professional, because he has to go through an apprenticeship program for almost five years, and learns the use of a variety of specialized tools, like the soldering torch. Plumber wages in all these sectors are on the same level.

The highest paying industry to plumbers is the glass and glass product manufacturing industry, where the plumber average salary is $ 70,000. Other top-paying industries are motor vehicle manufacturing, motor vehicle parts manufacturing, other miscellaneous manufacturing, museums, historical sites and similar institutions.

The highest plumber income is possible in Illinois with about $70,000 a year. Other top-paying locations are Alaska, Massachusetts, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
